Wine Festival 2007 Kicks Off With Opening Reception

Wednesday night marked the start of the 11th annual Nantucket Wine Festival with an opening reception for the island's wine lovers at The White Elephant. Jim Sulzer entertained guests on his guitar as they mingled with the winemakers and enjoyed Brant Point Grill’s Neil Hudson’s hors d’oeuvres and other delights from the festival. The festival continues through Sunday. Expect big crowds of happy wine and food lovers, so plan your attendance if you haven’t already. A full listing of events, venues, prices and participants can be found on the Festival’s web site. We’ll be out and about taking pictures and taking names. We hope we’ll be seeing you on Plum.
