Nantucket's 30th annual high school scholarship pageant Junior Miss, has been postponed until Sunday at 12:00 noon at the Mary P. Walker Auditorium at NHS. The event, which was orginally supposed to commence this evening at 7PM, is now being held a day later with Tropical Storm Noel and its hurricane-force winds heading to the waters around Nantucket.
Linda Davis, Junior Miss Board member, said,"Due to orders from FEMA and the Superintendent, all activities have been cancelled [Saturday] including Junior Miss."
