The Whalers Football Team celebrated their homecoming victory with Hurricane Noel on the horizon.

Despite the momentum of three straight wins behind them, the Whalers were harpooned by the Vineyarders 48-6 at The Island Cup on Nov 17.

Students at Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School certainly had a lot to say about their island rival. Check out the video of the Vineyard students.

On a brisk autumn day the Nantucket Whalers Football team out-ran the Diman Bengals en-route to a 14-6 win on November 10.

With three seconds remaining in the game against Tri-County, the Nantucket Whalers Football team capped off a 70-yard drive with a touchdown pass to beat their opponents 13-12.

Amidst the rain and mud, the Nantucket Whalers Football team used key defensive stops and a skilled passing attack to pull out their first win of the season against the Old Colony Cougars on Saturday, October 27.

The Whalers suffered a tough loss on October 20 against Avon/Holbrook, dropping the game 34-15

The Whalers were hopeful they could pull out a win in their first game against a Mayflower Small League opponent. Unfortunately, on Saturday, October 13, the Whalers Football Team lost in a hard-fought game to West Bridgewater 34-6.

The Nantucket Whalers football team dropped their third game of the season at home to Bristol Plymouth 22-0.

In a muddy battle in week two, the Cape Cod Tech Crusaders managed to beat the Whalers 20-0. Click here to get the full game recap.

Plum also got off-island for the Whalers first game of the season versus Southeastern High School, resulting in a 14-6 loss. The Whalers did give a solid defensive effort and showed a dangerous passing attack. Take a look at the season opener versus the Southeastern Hawks.
