Nantucket

This is Halloween on Nantucket

Robert Sulzer

Ghouls and goblins rocked down rickety streets during the Halloween parade on Main St. Superheroes and monsters bravely charged through the haunted house at the fire department. With it's storied past and fun kid events, Nantucket was a boo-tiful place to spend Halloween.

Whether it’s the sugar or the fun events, the kids definitely came out on top this Halloween. Perhaps Nantucket’s best trait is the community’s knack for supporting the island population, and this year’s Halloween was no exception. Various Island organizations like the Nantucket Fire Department, Nantucket Island Resorts, and The Inquirer and Mirror worked together to make Halloween a magical experience for the youth on Nantucket.

See our slideshow and video below to see all the ghastly creatures on Main St. and at the Fire Department Halloween party.

Halloween on Nantucket

Looked like a great parade - I especially like the two little versions of "Bat Man". You could tell they are very powerful.

Good to see the Proch family represented - Our granddaughter Sophie is in evidence, and I believe our grandson Michal is hiding under a mask - although I would recognize him anywhere. Could that be their mother nearby?

Trick or Treat.

Halloween on Nantucket

Halloween on Nantucket - just one of the many reasons my daughter fell in love with the island. Loved the photo of my daughter, son-in-law and grandaughter - their smiles say it all! Boooootiful job!!!!!
