
This weekend closes the 12th take on the Nantucket Film Festival. From the touching stories witnessed in the documentary film Autism Every Day to the inspirational storyline in Canvas, Plum was on the scene to bring you all the coverage at the red carpet.
Saturday night was no exception when they rolled out the red carpet for the film festival's attendees at the NBC Universal Screenwriters Tribute Award. This year the award was given to the talented and monumental screenwriter Robert Benton. Benton is the mind behind such films as Kramer Vs. Kramer and Places In the Heart.
"I think Robert Benton is one of the more compelling film directors of the 70s and 80s," actor and writer and Emmy Award winner Joe Pantoliano said about Benton.
"I love watching it one the screen as long as I can make changes. When I can no longer make changes, I'm not interested," Robert Benton told Plum on the red carpet in regards to his life's work, "It doesn't get old, and it's very nice."
