Traditional Guinean Music & Dance on Old Nantucket

This past weekend Abdoulaye Sylla and his Guinean music and dance ensemble, FOTOBA, performed for families at the Nantucket Atheneum and held a drumming workshop for kids at the Nantucket Boys and Girls Club.

FOTOBA is just one of the special ensembles that the Nantucket Atheneum has brought to Nantucket as part of their eclectic winter program which features musicians, authors, and videographers.
