As Associate Executive Director of A Safe Place on Nantucket, Katherine Robinson Grieder has been committed to providing crisis services, prevention education, and changing the norms of acceptable behavior on Nantucket. Grieder has worked with A Safe Place for seven and a half years was hired in July 2007.as the Associate Executive Director
“The mission of A Safe Place on Nantucket is to provide a safer place by providing services to people who have experienced domestic violence and sexual abuse.” Said Gridier. The organization also offers a 24-hour local support hotline.
“I admire the generosity of spirit. In a small town people really take care of each other. Of course, I also love the natural beauty and open spaces on the Island.” Said Gridier.
