As Executive Director of the Nantucket Land Council, Cormac Collier has played a critical role in protecting the island's natural resources.
As development on the island continues to grow, Collier plays a critical role in preserving the very thing he loves most about the island, "the amount of conservation land that is in permanent protection."
Most recently, the Nantucket Land Council raised $14 million to purchase 270 acres of land owned by Linda Loring and the Linda Loring Nature Foundation. The purchase was a huge success for the conservation movement on the island.
