A Family Store, A Family Tradition
Shopkeeper Sherry Loucks is going into her 6th season owning Nantucket Lite, Candle & Soap Company. Having lived in various parts of the country, Sherry’s impeccable taste and eye for décor is found in the variety of products she carries at the shop. “The first time I stepped foot on the island was in 1976 with my husband and first daughter of 18 months,” said Loucks, “When we had to return to our home in Cornwall, NY we found that we were only leaving Nantucket physically, but never emotionally.” Her passion for the island and the beauty surrounding it serves as the inspiration for many of their unique products in the store.
