With three seconds remaining in the game against Tri-County, the Nantucket Whalers Football team capped off a 70-yard drive with a touchdown pass to beat their opponents 13-12.
Amidst the rain and mud, the Nantucket Whalers Football team used key defensive stops and a skilled passing attack to pull out their first win of the season against the Old Colony Cougars on Saturday, October 27.
The Whalers suffered a tough loss on October 20 against Avon/Holbrook, dropping the game 34-15
The Whalers were hopeful they could pull out a win in their first game against a Mayflower Small League opponent. Unfortunately, on Saturday, October 13, the Whalers Football Team lost in a hard-fought game to West Bridgewater 34-6.
The Nantucket Whalers football team dropped their third game of the season at home to Bristol Plymouth 22-0.
