One Book One Island Finale: The Event

Another chapter closed for Nantucket's annual One Book One Island event on Feb 10, bringing the local community closer to books and reading. This year's reading selections were Hemingway's classic tale The Old Man and The Sea, Rodman Philbrick's The Young Man and The Sea, and Island Boy, a children's book by Barbara Cooney.

The crowds came out for the One Book One Island Finale event at The Nantucket Atheneum, where artists, musicians, and more conveyed the words of Hemingway's classic tale to more than 50 people.
